Following the success of The Tempest in 2010, the Hong Kong Arts Festival proudly presents another edition from The Bridge Project, Richard III*, launching the first of its 40th anniversary programmes# in September this year.

Starring Kevin Spacey, Artistic Director of The Old Vic, in the title role, Richard III will be staged with five performances at the Lyric Theatre, HKAPA, on 16-18 September. The Bridge Project will again be directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes with whom Spacey worked on the film American Beauty, for which they both won BAFTA and Academy Awards.

The full company will again be drawn from leading American and British actors and will embark on an international tour after premiering at The Old Vic in June, with Hong Kong as its first stop in Asia.
