The 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2015
60% tickets sold in over 10,000 booking forms received at advance sales
Counter bookings begin 13 December 2014

(Hong Kong, 10 December 2014) The 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) receives enthusiastic responses from audience, selling 60% of 110,000 available tickets with over 10,000 booking forms received by the close of advance sales. Counter bookings begin at 10:00am on 13 December at all URBTIX outlets (www.urbtix.hk | 2111 5999), while tickets to performances at the HK Academy for Performing Arts will be available also at all HK Ticketing outlets (www.hkticketing.com |31 288 288).

Top 12 most popular programmes in advance sales
Based on the number of advance tickets sold, the top 12 HKAF best-selling programmes include: The Amahs, The Gate Theatre Pride and Prejudice, Dutch National Theatre Cinderella, The Bolshoi Ballet Jewels, Bobby McFerrin spirityouall, The Bolshoi Ballet The Flames of Paris, Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gala Flamenca, The Bolshoi Opera The Tsar’s Bride, Pink Martini, Christian Thielemann and the Staatskapelle Dresden and Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe.

Featuring 137 performances and more
Featuring 49 international and local ensembles or solo artists, there are 137 performances running mainly from 27 February to 29 March. The 43rd HKAF Programme & Booking Guide is available at all URBTIX outlets and Festival Information Counters located at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Hong Kong City Hall.
