The 48th Hong Kong Arts Festival Kick-off Press Conference was held on 29 October, announcing details on 125 performances and over 400 complementary outreach and education activities, featuring close to 1,900 international and local artists.

The press conference was hosted by Victor Cha, Chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society, Tisa Ho, Executive Director; and Grace Lang, Programme Director. Over 120 guests attended the press conference: journalists, representatives from the arts community, members of supporting and sponsoring organisations, and artists participating in the 48th HKAF.
